Woman Killed, Man Hospitalized In Riverside Motorcycle Accident

Riverside motorcycle accident – Early on Saturday morning, a motorcycle accident in Riverside County left the rider critically hurt and the passenger dead. In the city of Riverside, it happened at around three in the morning close to the junction of Arlington Avenue and Fairhaven Drive. Officers from the Riverside Police Department arrived on the site, where they discovered the two riders and the motorcycle that had crashed.

The driver, a 41-year-old Norco man, was sent to the hospital by ambulance after sustaining serious injuries to “the lower limbs.” A 37-year-old Norco resident who was his passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The man allegedly failed to negotiate a curve in Arlington Avenue while operating the 2020 Buell motorcycle at a high rate of speed, according to investigators. Both motorcyclists were thrown to the ground onto the street when the motorcycle hit a curb. The identities of either of the two cyclists involved in the collision have not yet been made public by the authorities.
