TRAFFIC ALERT – According to CCPD officials, a fatal traffic collision has shut off northbound NPID lanes close to Highway 77/Agnes Street until around 6 p.m. According to Corpus Christi Police Department Capt. Timothy Frazier, a woman was instantly killed after a silver four-door vehicle was killed during a series of collisions that began when a 37-year-old man operating a company truck failed to see a Scorpion construction truck that was being used as a traffic divider.
The 31-year-old woman rear-ended the halted car after failing to notice the 37-year-old man’s truck and colliding with it. The other crash participants, according to Frazier, weren’t seriously hurt.
