Nezperce Car Accident – – On Idaho Highway 64 near Nezperce, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of one individual. According to a press statement from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho State Police arrived at the scene of the collision around 1:20 a.m. on Thursday. A 2002 Saturn was moving east when it off the road on the right shoulder and descended the slope 350 feet.
According to the news release, the driver was ejected from the car and pronounced dead on the spot. The driver’s identity was kept a secret. Investigations into the crash’s cause are ongoing. Kamiah Fire and the Lewis County Coroner also responded to the crash, along with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and ISP.
