Man Seriously Hurt In Motorcycle Accident

Motorcycle accident – A woman is in court this morning following a collision between a car and a motorcycle outside Dunedin’s railway station that left a 27-year-old man gravely hurt. When the collision occurred at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, police officer Nick Turner said a 24-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Camry quickly on lower Stuart St. from the Octagon toward the train station.

When the woman made a left turn onto Castle Street, she hit the motorbike rider who was standing still. The man was gravely harmed, according to a police spokeswoman, and it’s believed he’s in stable condition at the hospital.

This morning, a car was in the midst of the garden area, and the remains of a burned-out motorcycle were visible on the sidewalk in front of the railroad station.
Security officers are assisting in maintaining order at the site while the area is sealed off. Diverts have been in place, and this morning’s scene investigation will continue, according to the police.
