Lyntell Washington Death and Obituary, Who was Lyntell Washington and what was her cause of death? The murder of a beloved teacher uncovers lies, an illicit affair, a secret pregnancy

Lyntell Washington’s daughter, who was just 3 years old when she was found in a Louisiana parking lot in June 2016, had just witnessed the brutal killing of her mother, investigators said.

Facing the trauma, the girl became a key witness and helped bring her mother’s killers to justice, according to investigators following the lead. These leads eventually led to the arrest and conviction of Washington’s secret friend, Robert Marks.

When kindhearted Leslie Parms spotted the girl in a Baton Rouge parking lot, she immediately told him: “Mr. Robbie” took her there. According to friends in Washington, “Mr. Robbie” was Max’s name.

“Okay, who made the blood? Who made the blood in the car?” asked a police officer who responded to the scene, according to the dash cam footage.

“Mr. Robbie,” Washington’s daughter replied.

Marks is the Vice Principal of the Brookstown Middle Magnet Academy, where Washington has taught. Investigators determined that the two were having an affair and that Washington was pregnant with her child at the time of Max’s death. Washington’s body was found a week after her daughter was left alone in a parking lot.

The girl was questioned by a child forensic interviewer at a children’s counselling centre after her mother was murdered. In the recorded interview, the girl said again: “Mr. Robbie” did the blood in the car and gave more details.

“When we found the body, we found her shot in the head. That confirmed what the little girl said,” Iberville County District Attorney Tony Clayton told 20/20.

Prosecutors showed video of girl being interviewed during Marks’ murder trial. A juror at the trial told 20/20 he was moved by the video.

“She said it. I don’t think he thought of that at all,” the judge told 20/20.

Lyntell Washington’s daughter, 9, lives with her father, Darren Glasper. She told Deborah Roberts of “20/20” that she still remembers her mother.
