With heartfelt sorrow, we mourn the loss of Kathryn Carey. Katie was a devoted mom to Grace and Charley and a dedicated teacher. Katie adored her siblings, loved her friends, and was an active member of the Barrington community.
Katie had a wonderful group of friends and colleagues at Sowams school. She was a caring neighbor and loved walking her dog Isla every day.
Katie co-parented as a team with the father of her children, Bill Carey. A Girl Scout leader, she enjoyed volunteering for many of her children’s activities and sports. Katie loved taking care of her home and decorated it meticulously for every season.
Katie’s family will need our love and support as they navigate this tremendous loss. We are hoping to raise funds for this wonderful family.
