We are absolutely heartbroken to share that one of our FCAR employees, Kal’el Allen, passed away this weekend in a car accident. Kal’el was an incredibly special person, not only to all of the people at FCAR but also to our rescues. He was always eager to meet our new dogs and had an incredibly special way with our ‘difficult’ ones. We loved to find him playing with the dogs out in their yards as he worked, giving them the special attention they so loved and deserved. He had a special bond with long-timer Rubirosa, she loved to play ball with him
. Kal’el had a heart of gold, a positive attitude, and was so easy going. He would do absolutely anything to help, and always had a genuine smile on his face. Kal’el will be deeply missed. By all of us at FCAR and of course by his family and friends. Please keep Kal’el in your prayers along with his family, especially his dad Travis, who is also a valuable part of of our FCAR team. We will miss you and were blessed to have the privilege of working with you. May you rest easy in grace and love.

As a result of the announcement of Kal’el Allen’s passing being made public, friends, family, and other people who were close to Kal’el Allen are going through a period of intense grief. I don’t believe that life should be viewed as something terrifying. In my opinion, it’s very similar to getting a soothing massage after a long day at the office. In the end, you will have to pick yourself up and head back to work at some point. To sum it all up, that pretty much sums up life, death, and the economy.
